Znalosti:Students have a basic knowledge of the legislative system of air pollution in the Czech Republic, which corresponds to the concept of air quality protection in the EU. They have information about substances polluting the air, methods of measuring polluted emissions and air pollution. They get closely familiar with the meteorological factors of pollutant dispersion and its chemical transformations affecting the atmosphere. They know how to derivate and use Gaussian plume model, which is the base of the methodology for estimating air pollution approved in the CR. Students have information about important photochemical processes that may occur in the local as well as global scale of the atmosphere.Dovednosti:Students have knowledge that enables them to understand correctly the basic processes determining the ambient air quality. Using their knowledge they are capable to evaluate local and global effects of anthropogenic emissions into the atmosphere.Kompetence - komunikace:Students are able to operate with concepts and relations properly within the scope of air quality protection. They can work in cooperation and teamwork under the expert guidance.Kompetence - úsudek:Students are competent to evaluate information about ambient air quality in an independent and creative way, and understand the context with the current anthropogenic emissions intensity caused by proximal pollution sources and meteorological conditions. Students are able to orientate themselves in dedicated literature and other information sources.
