Republic and visit the 

"Krkonoše" or "Jeseníky" 

Mountains, but more and more 

people travel to the Tatra 

Mountains in Slovakia or the 

Alpes. the most visited Alpine 

countries are Austria, Germany, 

Switzerland, France and Italy.

efficient for long 

distances. Also

drive.

For Czechs, Egypt is the 

most popular African 

destination. It's located in 

North Africa. Two places 

are especially popular - 

Sharm El Sheikh and 

Hurghada - are full of 

5-star hotels and 

thousands of Czech 

tourists visit them each 

summer. These 

destinations are notable 

for their beaches and 

diving sites in the Red Sea.

On bigger ships, 

people can utilize 

various services 

and facilities such 

as a personal 

cabin, restaurants 

or swimming 

pools and 

generally, have a 

very high level of 

comfort. 

The biggest 

disadvantage of 

travelling by ship is 

the price. Ship 

fares are very 

expensive, even 

more than air 

fares. Travelling by 

ship is also very 

slow.

Most people use buses as a 

part of public transport, but 

it's also possible to take a 

bus trip to Croatia or Italy.
