Poultry production is an important part of animal production. The main aim of this subject is to achive theoretical and practical knowledge about hens, turkeys, ducks, geese and other species of poultry. The subject explains the situation in poultry production in the world and describes the factors which influence egg and meat quality.

Znalosti:Have knowledge of poultry products, e.g. egg formation, growth and meat performance, feather production. They are able to evaluate the effect of different factors influencing performance and products composition. They have theoretical knowledge of poultry reproduction, hatching and embryo development. Have theoretical knowledge of chicken, turkey, duck and goose production in different climatic conditions.Dovednosti:They manage independently evaluate the effect of factors on product quality; decide about influence of poultry housing product quality. Are able solve problems of poultry production in variable conditions.Kompetence - komunikace:Use English as a main communication language, are able comprehensively formulate their own opinion and opinions of other specialists. Have ability to communicate in English with laymen.Kompetence - úsudek:They are able to create independent opinion and work creatively. Manage select and use new information on their field. They are able to evaluate research results and decide about their application on farms.
