Cíl

Parasitology is focused on bionomy of common and pathogenic parasites of domesticated animals. This subject notify technology, stable environment and other influences supporting or restricting the occurence of parasites. Students learned to diagnose most considerable parasite infection, they obtain information about methods of control and prevention of common parasitoses.

Znalosti:Student knows and can describe basic parasite groups morphology, he knows life cycles of the most important parasites and their zoonotic potential. He can differentiate basic parasite groups at the level of Phyllums, Classes and Orders. He can differentiate individual histologic dissection of tissue parasitized with specific parasite. He knows systematic order and can parasitic animals class there. Student can explain the signification of individual parasites or groups of parasites and knows the possibility of the most often parasites control.Dovednosti:Student can identify the individual taxons of parasites on the basis of morfology and he can class with parasite species. Student can use the knowledge and can suggest effective procedures for anthelmintic dosage method, the time of dosage and parasite eradication with their ife cycle interuption. Student is able to work with this knowledge in field condition.Kompetence - komunikace:Student can work either under leadership or in the team. He is able communicate and understand to special parasitological terminology. He can form, discuss and presentate his opinions. He is able to explain of informations and ideas, he can suggest a solution of problems.Kompetence - úsudek:Student is creative and initiative. He is able to use his knowledge and evaluace the situation in field conditions. He is ready to organize of basic epidemiologic arrangements in field conditions.
