Znalosti:Student knows and is able to characterise cultivars types in main groups of fruit crops and vegetable and understands principles of methods used to its creation. He knows structure of breeding aims and appreciates the main recent need of cultivars complexity. He appreciates global complexity of the branch and its necessary integration in agriculture. He understands relevance and knows in detail processes of obtaining, characterising, conservation and distribution of genetic resources are clear. He understands principles of methods used in breeding process and process of seed testing. He knows and understands biological principles and principles of methods used to creation and maintenance of crop varieties. He knows basic methods of biological and seed production value evaluation. He appreciates importance of biotechnologies and molecular approaches utilisation in a branches of plant breeding and seed production. Student knows content of appropriate legislation and regulations in connection to branch.Dovednosti:Student is able to define main crops breeding objectives in the view of sustainable development of the branch and in connection to continually developing demands on crops characters. He is able to use system of plant characters descriptors to evaluation of breeding material or checking of seed production process. He can to take decision about preference of suitable cultivar for concrete growing conditions. Student is capable to simulate basic breeding situations and use simple models characterising tight relations of plants characters and its changes in breeding process. He is able to evaluate biological and seed production quality of seeds and also variability in progenies and estimate and predict the genotype structure and productiveness in next generations. Student is capable to formulate adequate scientific hypotheses and these hypotheses appropriately verify.Kompetence - komunikace:Graduate is able to independently and initiatively receive, analyse and transfer information in some of world language. He is able to use technical terminology actively. Information transferred is understandable, unambiguously formulated and obtaining new ideas. Student analyses, concretizes and generalizes optional problems and proposes their potential solutions. Student is able to syntesize and deduce.Kompetence - úsudek:Student creates opinions on a basis of relevant information. He is able information organize, analyse and appropriately process. He is able to thing about information and all problems in the branch objectively and seriously. In case of incomplete information, he is able to use synthesis and deduction for solution of problems. He uses independent and team wise way of rational and creative information processing.
