Cíl

The hydropedological survey is a significant part of practice in soil and water relationship. Lectures and seminars are strictly oriented to the laboratory and field survey methods, applied to determine physical, hydrophysical and hydraulical parameters and behaviours of soils. The attention is also payed to the environmental aspects of soil and water relationship, and to the very practical training in the laboratory and field techniques, useful in the survey.

Znalosti:The student is able to apply the fundamental principles of survey for soil and water relationship. She/he can use the field and laboratory techniques for the soil parameters determination. She/he is able to understand and explain the principles of survey in vadose zone. She/he largely understands an interaction between the solid, liquid and gaseous phase of soil, is able to collect properly soil and water samples in the field, performing the field tests and measurements. She/he also knows the data evaluation methods, calculations and way of techbnical report writting. She/he is able to combine the knowledge and experience obtained for the subject Soil and Water Relationship during the previous studies. Student knows how to implement this knowledge into the field survey and later on in decission making process.Dovednosti:The student is able to apply the fundamental principles and methods of field survey for the collection of data and their evaluation. She/he is prepared to work independently and to run the field survey and determine hydrophysical parameters of soil and soil water. She/he is capable of a thorough analysis of the collected data like hydraulic conductivity. sorptivity, soil water potential, flow of water, soil moisture mand other data to prepare the written technical report included tabular and graphical presentations of collected data. She/he is able to carry out independently the problems of soil and water relationship survey included up to date advanced methods in soil and water survey.Kompetence - komunikace:The student is able to work independently alone or as a member of team; both under leadership or as a leader. She/he is able to communicate with sufficient knowledge of technical terminology of the subject. She/he is also ready to organize the work of subordinates, work with ordinary workers at different level of responsibility and effectively guide, evaluate and coordinate their activities.Kompetence - úsudek:The student is able to work creatively and progressively. She/he is able to assess, evaluate and apply information resources (literature, documents, databases, web sites, etc.). In arriving at correct solutions, she/he also uses her/his own experience and experience of experts. She/he is able to evaluate critically the obtained results of work . Student is open to accept and use new solutions.
