Znalosti:Student is able to distinguish fundamental map types and assess their use in a particular situation. Student knows basic principles of map creating and can describe the mathematical base of map products. Student knows modern procedures in data sampling and their cartographical processing. Student is able to search and explore freely available map and data sources as well as the fundamental European map products. Student has overview about main periods of history of cartography.Dovednosti:Student is able to compile a map sheet properly. He can use modern GIS based method to create different types of maps, including complex thematic maps. Student is able to explore and analyze available data for the map creation. Student can elaborate a map output in good graphical and contextual quality and present it. Student can apply cartography methods in practice, in particular case and using his own data.Kompetence - komunikace:Student is able to work individually and in collective. Student knows to use the cartographic terminology. Student is able to formulate his opinions and present information.Kompetence - úsudek:Student is creative and independent; student can search and use accessible information sources. The work is based on students' individual discretion and experiences.
