Cíl

To characterize basic aspects of growing technologies of selected field crops. To obtain basic knowledges about principles of compiling of individual field crops technologies and their production and economic evaluation. Attention will be payed to principles of yield formation of the main field crops. To explain methods used in agrobiological control of the field crops; practical training will also deal with evaluation of the field crops stands and structure of individual yield components.

Znalosti:Graduate knows general principles of the plants growing at the arable land, basic patterns of yield formation of field crops and basic criteria of the plants products quality. He (she) knows basic anatomically - morphological composition of cereals, legumes and root crops etc. He (she) is able to distinguish their seeds, fruits, flower heads etc. He (she) is able to explain importance and possibilities of their use for national economy. He (she) is able to work up basic technologies of wheat, barley, pea, sugar beet and potatoes growing. He (she) is able to determine and classify basic deficiencies of growing technology of cereals, legumes and root crops He (she) can define relation of these plants to environment.Dovednosti:Graduate is able to identify cereals, legumes and root crops. He (she) can prepare growing technologies, propose suitable growing measures. He (she) can prepare a protocol about a result of seed quality evaluation. He (she) is able to distinguish and evaluate a yield structure of legumes, cereals and root crops under field conditions. He (she) is able to explain relations of individual yield components to growing factors. He (she) has very good theoretical premises for development of agronomically oriented skills.Kompetence - komunikace:Graduate can work under guidance or in a team. He (she) is able to communicate in Czech language with using of basic agricultural terminology. He (she) can formulate and present his (her) own opinions, he (she) is able to communicate information, ideas, to specify problems and to propose possible solutions. He (she) can formulate and present opinions about plants growing.Kompetence - úsudek:Graduate is able to work creatively and initiatively. He (she) is able to evaluate and apply professional information resources (professional literature, documents, databases, web pages etc.), he (she) uses his (her) own experiences and experiences of professionals. He (she) is also prepared to organize and effectively control everyday work in the plants growing area.
