Znalosti:The student has a theoretical and practical knowledge management of cattle, sheep, poultry and pig breeding. He is able to name economically important production capabilities and classify them by their resultant effect on the economy of breeding. He know how to name and describe breeding systems suitable for individual species of farm animals, to define optimal conditions for breeding and critical points. He is well oriented in professional and scientific literature and is able to cite and reproduce results published in professional and scientific literature.Dovednosti:The student is capable of professional handling of animals, organization and ensuring all technical interventions and operations of management. He can objectively evaluate the demandingness of farm animals breeding. He is well oriented in the health problems of animals and is able to determine the necessity of veterinary treatment. He can provide professional management of farm and analyze production traits achieved. He is able to practically apply newly gained information within the frame-work of breeding management.Kompetence - komunikace:The student can direct farm focused on the breeding of farm animals under supervision or in a team. He uses a professional nomenclature relevant to farm animal breeding in the Czech as well as English language. He is able to formulate and present his own opinions about a system of breeding and to discuss given problem. He can define actual problem and propose optimal solution, including relevant delegating of tasks to co-workers.Kompetence - úsudek:The student can approach his work creatively and with initiative. He knows how to work with common available sources of information (professional literature, documents, databases, statistical bulletins, web pages) and is able to review, evaluate, and extract important information. He can participate in or chair professional discussions and use his own experience as well that as of other specialists for forming his opinion.
