Znalosti:Students have attained a general overview of husbandry of farm animals in the world and in the country, plus they have knowledge of particular species, including basics of their biology, husbandry and ethology. Students are familiar with general knowledge relating to each species in terms of anatomy, physiology, genetics, nutrition and feeding, whilst knowing the principles of use of animals and being aware of legislative and legal aspects of animal breeding.Dovednosti:Students are able to navigate across the diversity of the farm animal biology and husbandry sectors, be it the area of animal management as such or use of the animal products. They recognise major species used in breeding, while also having mastered the basics of animal management techniques.Kompetence - komunikace:Students are able to be leaders of rather small teams and efficiently delegate the superior's commands and decisions to these, while also being capable of cooperating closely with senior staff members. They can formulate their own views, and explain each type of activity to non-specialist audiences. They are able to communicate using one of foreign languages even when discussing field-specific topics at a specialist level.Kompetence - úsudek:Students are able of handling daily operations relating to husbandry of farm animals and evaluating issues arising in this regard. They are ready to organise daily tasks of their subordinates, overseeing these in an efficient manner. They are responsible for the quality of work assigned as well as being able to monitor the appropriateness and effectiveness of the measures taken.
