Cíl

Teaching will localize on the general principles of vegetables, edible mushrooms and sprouts production and their application into the praxis, on the theory of vegetables, edible mushrooms and sprouts yield production in variable conditions and on the possibilities of ecological factors regulation. The aim of this subject is acquaint students with the vegetables, edible mushrooms and sprouts production problematic with the accent of the biological speciality, origin, breeding and possibilities of conditions optimalisaton for acquirement of high, quality and healthful vegetables, edible mushrooms and sprouts production.

Znalosti:He knows the basic assortment of vegetables, edible and medicinal mushrooms and plant species suited for sprouts production and their environmental requirements. He can define vegetables with regard to the biological traits that significantly affect the quantity and quality of the production. He can enumerate the important environmental factors that contribute to the yield formation of vegetables, edible and medicinal mushrooms and sprouts and knows the possibility of their optimization for high yield of quality and safe production. He knows the agricultural processes in growing of vegetables, edible and medicinal mushrooms and sprouts and he is able to arrange them chronologically and describe them. He knows the principles of good agronomical practices and the principles of sustainable use of natural resources in relation to the production.Dovednosti:He can draw up the crop rotation of vegetables. He is able to calculate the some cost of vegetables, edible and medicinal mushrooms and sprouts production. He can evaluate the suitability of conditions for growing vegetables, edible and medicinbal mushrooms and sprouts and propose a set of necessary agronomical measures in time to achieve a high yield of quality production. He can prepare the growing plan in specific ecological and economic conditions, based on modern agricultural practices with regard to the viability and sustainability of production.Kompetence - komunikace:He can define the specific issues of growing vegetables, edible and medicinal mushrooms and sprouts and he can clearly and intelligibly communicate them to other members of the team.He is able to critically and objectively confront his own suggestions and solutions with different professional views, and he can use modern information and communication technologies for the exchange and sharing of information.Kompetence - úsudek:He can use suitably the knowledge and skills for creating of his own opinion during the period of solving partial but also the complex agricultural problems of growing vegetables.
