Znalosti:Students learn botanical terminology from the field of plant anatomy, morphology, taxonomy and ecology as well. Students are able to characterize plant families of indigenous flora and enumerate most important species of them. Students learn how to determinate circa 500 species of vascular plants and know scientific Latin names of these species.Dovednosti:Students are able to work with basic scientific literature, especially with determination keys. They can make a herbarium specimen for later determination/revision by taxonomical expert for particular critical genera. Using their floristical knowledge students are able to characterize basic ecological conditions of (forest) plant communities.Kompetence - komunikace:Students can describe species characteristic using scientific terms. They are able to present their own hypothesis. Students are able to follow scientific discussion and contribute with their own original opinion.Kompetence - úsudek:Students master critical thinking in the field of plant determination. They are able to dispute about plausibility of specimen enlistment into botanical system and argue with facts of literature and own experience.
