Získané způsobilosti

Znalosti:The course is focused on better understanding of growth and reproduction processes of forest trees. Considerable attention is devoted to environmental physiology, to the affects of environmental factors on physiological processes of forest trees. Graduates attain comprehensive knowledge of physiological mechanisms of tree species. The have an insight into cambial growth and tree ring formation, shoot and root growth, mineral nutrition, transpiration, sexual reproduction in gymnosperms and angiosperms, physiology of seeds, phytohormones and plant growth regulators, and the methods of vegetative propagation. They know the basic methods used in plant physiology as well as their possible practical use. Their knowledge spans from basic to most recent scientific findings in the subject of plant physiology. Their theoretical knowledge builds a basis for their original thinking. They perceive theories, concepts and research methods of this subject. They can apply their knowledge in research projects. They understand limits of their knowledge in this field. They see what their future studies in this field should include.Dovednosti:They can apply their knowledge in special projects (both research and innovation), they are capable to integrate different methods from different fields into practical applications: individually on the level of small to middle-size companies, as leaders in creative teams in both management and public administration. They can utilize their special skills in their work experience.Kompetence - komunikace:They can manage and oversee work activities, where unpredictable changes are common. They can manage special activities and projects, including strategical planning. They can integrate knowledge and make judgements, even under incomplete information. They can communicate in two foreign languages: one at least in the level of B1 according to the European standards, including the expert language.Kompetence - úsudek:They are able to (based on their knowledge) make a right judgement about specific problems in applied forestry and to propose corresponding management procedures based on their skills and understanding of physiological principles.
