Znalosti:Student gets complex information about forest mensuration (tree, stand parameters) and about their further use. He knows characteristics and quantities of logs, stems, trees and stands and understands mathematical and logical links between them. He has knowledge about principles and methods, practical experiences with mensuration of standing trees and lying stems and is able to perform further calculation with use of computer and/or tables.Dovednosti:Student can use both traditional and modern electronic tools for mensuration of needed data. He can create data sets with use of electronic devices, upload them to computer and manage the data for forestry management and trade purposes. Student is able to create height diagram, find parameters of the mean stem, standing volume, stocking and species share. He can use basic software for calculating stand parameters for elaboration of Forest management plan.Kompetence - komunikace:Student is able to use the knowledge in field, research or management. He can contribute with his knowledge to the problem solution.Kompetence - úsudek:Student is able to choose and apply appropriate way to measure needed stand parameters or felled trees in real conditions. He can also evaluate its qualitative and quantitative parameters.
