Znalosti:The utilization of special terms used in forestry, especially botany, genetics but also technical terms used in harvesting, logging and so on. This terms cannot be learnt in the "normal" English lessons, because of the high specialization of this subject.Dovednosti:Students are able to discuss specific forestry problems, understand methodology of foreign experiments and get specific informations from special scientific articles, and comment it. They are able also to write these articles.Kompetence - komunikace:Students will be able to comunicate about specific scientific problems in English. They will be able to formulate their problem and discuss about it, but also respond and discuss about someone elses projects and so on in the respective fields.Kompetence - úsudek:Students are able to translate corresctly specific forestry article, what is the crucial moment for evaluating the experiment in it and finding possibilities of repeating/improving/modyfing this experiment.
