This subject contains historical development of hunting and game management in Czech countries. An importance of hunting on the present and in the future is presented on examples from abroad. The significant sections are hunting habits, traditions, hunting speech and hunting folklore. The self-contained section is the development of national and international hunting organizations. The final section is the demonstration of game management and hunting in art and culture.

Znalosti:The graduates will have the integrated survey about historical development of the human society, importance of game for humanity and formation of relation to game depending up development of agriculture, industry etc. They will know the gradual reconversion of understanding of game firstly as food source, consequently as object for perfection of fitness up to ceremonial significance. They will gain insight into game importance as the integral part of ecosystem. They will know legends and folklore about mythic hunters, hunting habits, traditions, hunting terms and ethics.Dovednosti:They are able to apply their knowledge about game as the functional homeostatic element in nature. They know the historical development of understanding of game. They can use hunting terms, they can adhere hunting habits and traditions, they are able to organize professional rituals connected with life and profession activities of huntsmen. They contracted the habits and acquirements linked to hunting and treatment of hunted game.Kompetence - komunikace:The graduate can organize and do activities linked to use of game management habits and traditions, he knows all formulations connected with game management habits and rituals. He is able to create and lead teams able to do these rituals not only in Czech, but also in foreign language.Kompetence - úsudek:The graduate is able to create opinion about the professional level of use of game management habits and traditions linked to enforcement of laws in hunting districts.
