Získané způsobilosti
Znalosti:Students will acquire the fundamental knowledge about the sources of environmental data with special emphasize on forestry data. Attention will be paid to remote sensing data and their assets for monitoring of forest ecosystems. Students will get familiar with selected methods of spatial analysis and modelling, and assets of such methods for managements of natural resources.Dovednosti:Students with get familiar with sources of various data, including remote sensing imagery, and ways of their analysis. Skills on the use of decision support tools and geostatistical analysis will be acquired as well.Kompetence - komunikace:Students will acquire the basic terminology in the field of GIS, forestry and landscape management and will be able to communicate and to cooperate with other experts. Students will be able to describe the problem and in collaboration with other students in a working group.Kompetence - úsudek:Students will improve their skills in choosing optimal data for their projects, and in selecting proper algorithms for their analysis. Students also improve their skills in the interpretation of outputs of their analysis, hence will be able to communicate more efficiently their findings.
