Získané způsobilosti

Znalosti:Graduates have latest knowledge in the field of General Epizootology and Prevention of Animal Diseases in Tropics and Subtropics. They have theoretical knowledge concerning the definition of health and diseases, cause of the origin of infection diseases, characteristics of pathogenic agents and factors which influence spreading of infectious diseases, zoonoses and diseases which transfer vectors in tropics and subtropics. They get a view of the origin, development and demise of multiple animal diseases on the level of herds and populations. Graduates understand theories, concepts and methods which are appropriate to the strategy of application of preventative measures, solving the situation in the outbreak of infectious diseases, principles of the chemotherapy, chemoprophylaxis, effective disinfection, desensitization and deratization and, finally, the economical losses which were caused by the pathogenic causative agent. They have highly specialized knowledge in the veterinary and food legislation and they are able to analyze a potential risk of the infectious diseases and contagions. This allows them to continue in studying the postgraduate study program.Dovednosti:They are able to apply their knowledge during the individual solution of specialized problems in the research and to integrate the observation from related fields to the practice on the level of small and middle-scaled enterprises within home and less developed countries. Finally, they are able to formulate conclusions related to the solution of the problem in existing field.Kompetence - úsudek:Graduates are able to manage and transform working environment, to search individually new strategic approach in the field of epizootology (veterinary epidemiology) and prevention of animal diseases. They can also analyze the findings and evaluate and discuss the results in the Master's thesis.
