Cíl

Cílem předmětu je seznámit posluchače s principy a základními charakteristikami různých typů kultur in vitro a jejich využití v praxi.

Znalosti:Students have advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of cultivation media preparation for plant micropropagation in in vitro conditions. They know and are able to describe various methods of plant sanitation and plant breeding using biotechnological methods. They understand the theoretical basics of cryopreservation and maintenance of genetic resources.Dovednosti:On the basis of their knowledge, students can design and prepare cultivation media for different cultures in in vitro conditions. They are able to implement plant sanitation or breeding using advanced methods. They can solve problems independently and creatively with the use of suitable theories, concepts and biotechnological methods. They are able to acquire new original information within laboratory conditions and to define variability in in vitro cultures.Kompetence - komunikace:Graduates can work both under guidance and in team. They can communicate in foreign language using common professional terminology of given subject. They are able to tell own opinions understandably and convincingly to specialists and to public.Kompetence - úsudek:Graduates are able to judge, assess and apply information sources of given topic (professional literature, documents, databases, websites etc.), evaluate results and conclusions of scientific research within this and related subjects. They also approache to their work creatively and use their own experiences. They are able to plan, support, evaluate and manage the work of other team members.
