Cíl

Předmět shrnuje současný stav vědomostí o agrolesnictví. Cílem předmětu je seznámit posluchače s různými agrolesnickými systémy v tropech ale i v mírném pásu. Během přednášek a cviční je probírána klasifikace agrolesnických systémů, jejich vliv na managament půdy a vody, interakce mezi rozdílnými komponenty agrolesnictví, socio-ekonomie atd. Teoretický rámec je doplněn různými případovými studiemi.

Znalosti:Students gain theoretical knowledge in the field of agroforestry, relating to traditional knowledge and the latest findings in the field. They know the technical terminology used in the field. They will understand the concept and characteristics of agroforestry systems, are familiar with the most widespread agroforestry practices both in the tropics and temperate zone. They understand the principles of mixing the agricultural crops, forest and fruit trees. They know the current status of research in the field of agroforestry. Graduates have a critical awareness of the problems in the field. The knowledge of graduates serve as the basis for original thinking and enable them to participate in research.Dovednosti:They can apply their knowledge in practice. Students are able to orientate themselves in the field of agroforestry and know its advantages and disadvantages. Are able to apply their knowledge in dealing with projects or research on agroforestry. They can use their knowledge in establishment, management, monitoring and evaluation of agroforestry systems.Kompetence - komunikace:Graduates can combine their acquired theoretical and practical knowledge. Students are able to work both under the leadership and the teamwork. They can communicate in English using the specific terminology . They can formulate and present their own views from the fieldand clearly communicate information, ideas, specify the problems, and possible solutions.Kompetence - úsudek:The graduates of the course are able to approach their work creatively and with motivation. For the formation of their opinion they use all relevant information (literature, personal experience, experiences of experts), and are responsible for evaluating and improving their working activities.
