Cíl

Předmět navazuje a rozvíjí znalosti studentů nabyté v předmětu Agrolesnictví. Studenti získají znalosti o víceúčelových dřevinách tropů a subtropů, hlavně o jejich produkční a servisní roli. Studenti budou schopni identifikovat hlavní dřeviny této skupiny, jsou seznámeni s jejich správnými vědeckými a anglickými názvy, s původem, distribucí, ekologickými požadavky, morfologií, systémy pěstování a využitím. Předmět je vyučován formou seminářů zaměřených na jednotlivé skupiny dřevin.

Znalosti:The course builds and develops students' knowledge their acquired in the previous course of Agroforestry. Students will gain further theoretical and practical knowledge of a wide group of multi-purpose tree species from the tropics and subtropics used in agroforestry systems. They are familiar with the most important multipurpose tree species, both from a widespread group of fruit and timber trees, and also used as a fuel, food supply, or improving soil fertility. They understand the principles of cultivation and utilization of these species and are familiar with the results of research on individual species.Dovednosti:The students can apply their expertise in practice. Student will be able to identify major tees of mentioned groups. They are able to apply their knowledge in dealing with projects and the growing use of multipurpose tree species. They are able to use their skills to the recommendations of individual species in suitable conditions, have knowledge about their management, cultivation and use.Kompetence - komunikace:Graduates of the cours are able to approach their work creatively and with motivation. For the formation of their opinion they use all relevant information (literature, personal experience, experiences of experts), and are responsible for evaluating and improving their working activities.Kompetence - úsudek:Graduates of the cours are able to approach their work creatively and with motivation.
