Znalosti:. Students understand the importance of economics of farming systems in tropical and subtropical areas. They are aware of theoretical aspects of farming systems genesis and classification, resource, process and household analyses, and, social, economic and environmental evaluation methods of farming as well as urban and rural systems development. . They have the latest knowledge economic aspect of farming, urban and rural systems development as well as scientific methods for its both quantitative and qualitative assessment. They understand basic terms, relations and theories related to household resources, value-chain development and living standard of families. Dovednosti:. Students can use and are able to evaluate appropriateness of different research methods applicable in the field of economics of farming systems. . They are able to analyze both internal and external factors influencing the economy of farm and household. . Based on a given problem from farming and rural systems development they are able to formulate their thoughts and opinions using professional terminology in the form of scientific essay and oral presentation. Kompetence - komunikace:Students are able to argue reasonably and formulate critical judgments based on relevant information. They are able to work effectively and in partnership with other colleagues and experts and they are able effectively communicate their knowledge.Kompetence - úsudek:Students know how to gather, organize and use data from primary and secondary sources. They are able to identify, formulate, and analyze problems and propose and justify solution to them.
