Znalosti:Graduates have a solid theoretical knowledge about the environmental, cultural, social, economic and political background of the specific sub-region of developing countries. They are familiar with the basic geographical classification, they are aware about the most relevant anthropo-social and environmental issues and they have a sufficient overview about the possibilities for research and development activities, poverty alleviation projects and/or participation in international trade or in political decisions; all with special respect to the role of European Union and/or Czech Republic.Dovednosti:Student is able to apply his/her knowledge on socio-geographical methods, cultural-specific data collection and analytical methods (like political discourse analyses) in field and chose appropriate and region-relevant development strategy, extension approach or comprehensive market access strategy. In addressing the complex and unpredictable problems, he/she has a progressing professional approach and uses an innovative methods, tools and supportative arguments both for research purposes or while working for private companies, governmental or non-governmental organizations.Kompetence - komunikace:Student is able to operate under the leadership as well as within the teamwork, to communicate in English language, using technical terminology regarding to the respective issue. He/She can formulate and present their own views and can clearly communicate/share the information and ideas, to specify the problems and possible solutions.Kompetence - úsudek:Students are able to apply their knowledge in practical applications related to the field of political, environmental or social sciences of the South and East Asia and the Pacific region. They can take advantage of detailed knowledge of this specific region. Students are able to think systemically and be accountable for professional knowledge and research practices and are able to work creatively, manage and transform complex and unpredictable environment, search for new strategic approaches, identify and apply information resources, discuss the results and conclusions of scientific research in coherent form, including multidisciplinary cooperation, organize and effectively control teamwork.
