Znalosti:. The graduates have a basic theoretical and methodological knowledge about backgrounds and processes related to agricultural policies with a focus on the situation in developing countries. They are familiar with the classification of all elements linked with policy making and with all links of the policy making cycle.Dovednosti:. Students can formulate the policy goals, provide ex-post evaluation of current policies, implement new policies and monitoring, establish a new policy set, classify objects and measures of agricultural policy and evaluate appropriateness of different research methods with respect to societal goals. . They are able to assess the measurement of impacts and effects of policy measures with special attention on food security problems in developing countries Kompetence - komunikace:The graduates are able from theoretical and practical points of view to assess the impact of policy measures on the development in agriculture on the national, regional and international level. Students are able to argue substantively and reasonably on relevant information related to assessments of the policy measures. They are able to communicate and discuss their knowledge with colleagues and experts Students can apply the knowledge both in the state administration and also in an active participation in research topics where policy issues are required. The knowledge gained can be applied also in local or international NGOs or in international organizations and other institutions. Kompetence - úsudek:Students understand how to provide impact assessments of the main policy measures with the respect of the provision of private and public goods, and how to avoid some policy failures, especially deadweight losses for the society. Students know how to collect, process, organize and use appropriate data from primary and also secondary sources.
