Znalosti:Students understand importance of private ethical business initiatives in international trade as important model for improvement of position of farmers in developing countries and empowerment of local population. They are aware of different private, state, external and internal approaches and schemes. They have knowledge of the main theories, underlining forces and drivers for social entrepreneurship from producer as well as consumer side. Dovednosti:Students know how to gather, organize and use data from primary (marketing survey) and secondary sources (scientific literature). They can use and are able to evaluate appropriateness of different research methods applicable in the field of efficiency of various ethical certification schemes. They are able to develop and critically evaluate their own theoretical supply chain of selected agricultural commodity oriented on development of small farmers in the South. They are able to analyze internal and external factors of successful marketing campaign for selected ethical label or brand. Based on a given problem from commodity trade and community development they are able to formulate their thoughts and opinions using professional terminology in the form of essay and oral presentation. Kompetence - komunikace:Students develop their communication skills through frequent small group or plenary discussions, practicing giving explanations, listening, questioning, presenting and defending a position and giving constructive feedback. Students are able to argue reasonably and formulate critical judgments about ethics and commodity impact in international trade based on relevant information. They are able to work effectively and in partnership with other colleagues and experts and they are able effectively communicate their knowledge. Kompetence - úsudek:They are able to identify, formulate, and analyze problems related to the field of social entrepreneurship and propose and justify practical solution to them in relation to the proposed system of upgrading their business. Through reading and discussions they can develop their intellectual understanding - mainly by clarifying concepts and theories, and accepting and seeing interrelationships and connections. Through close and focused exchanges with teacher and peers in the classroom, students become aware of the models of thinking, the accepted standards and the values and ethics of the discipline.
