Cíl

Cílem předmětu je vybavit studenty dostatečnými znalostmi o teorii a praxi formulování, realizace, evaluace a monitoringu projektů v zemědělství a v příbuzných oborech. Dále informovat studenty o principech a praktických aspektech plánování na různých úrovních řízení zemědělství. Zvláštní důraz je kladen na přípravu a použití business plánů. Předmět má za úkol seznámit posluchače se základními programy a projekty pro zemědělství, zpracování zemědělských produktů, rozvoj venkova a ekologii na mezinárodní, národní a regionální úrovních. Výuka je vedena klasickou formou přednášek a seminářů s důrazem na praktické zvládnutí přípravy a implementace projektů a business plánů. Jsou využívány projekty FAO a EU jako příklady pro formulaci, schvalování a implementaci projektů. Pro názornost je používána řada vypracovaných business plánů s úplným rozpočtem a testy na breal-even-poit a ekonomickou sensibilitu. Posluchači jsou seznámeni s administrativou EU a mezinárodních organizací (OSN), která existuje v oblasti rozvojové pomoci. Jestliže první část předmětu je věnována formulaci a implementaci projektů, pak druhá část předmětu je reservována pro plánování projektů s obecnými aspekty plánování a jeho vyhodnocení. Plánování na různých úrovních je charakterizováno a jeho modality pro různé oblasti vysvětleny. Podrobně jsou rozebírány business plány včetně jejich základních komponentů: marketinkový plán, finanční plán, a plán lidských zdrojů. Projekt na téma vybrané studentem v oboru formulace a realizace projektů či plánování na úrovni farmy je nedílnou části zápočtu.

Získané způsobilosti

Znalosti:The graduates have theoretical knowledge of basic principles, formulation, implementation, evaluation and monitoring of projects in agriculture. They have got knowledge of principles and practical aspects of planning at various levels in the agricultural sector, rural development and developing countries. On this base they can adopt decision-making in the design and use of business plans and have a basic understanding of operational procedures and principles for project cycle management, with emphasis on the identification, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. They understand the theories and concepts of project scheduling with general aspects of planning and evaluation. They are well informed about the limits of their knowledge and understanding of the content of further studies in planning and project management.Dovednosti:The graduates are able to apply their skills of project design, management and monitoring in practical apllication like - as an independent expert in teams implementing projects in the tropics and subtropics, but also at small and medium-sized enterprises in countries with developed economies; - as a member of task teams in the field of operational management; - as manager and implementer of business plans and/or operation of their own businesses; - at the transfer of theoretical knowledge into practice; - at the addressing non-standard challenges when working in projects implemented in the tropics and subtropics. Kompetence - komunikace:The graduates can lead small teams, or effectively operate under leadership or in partnership with qualified professionals. They can formulate and present their own views, reflecting the views of other team members clearly convey information, ideas, problems and solutions to both professionals and laics using a range of multimedia techniques.Kompetence - úsudek:They are able to review and develop performance of themselves and others, to supervise the routine work of others, take some responsibility for the evaluation and improvement of work activities. They can manage projects including planning, implementation and feedback.
