Cíl

In a form of lectures, the course presents general ecological principles, implementing them in methodology of population and community ecology and in applications of conservation biology and species or landscape management. Consequently, the students elaborate short oral presentations of a selected topic excerpting recent ecological literature.

They know how to collect material according to specialized methodology and then evaluate this material.Dovednosti:Students can use trained methods of ecosystem study and handle appropriate technical tools in the field and also in laboratory conditions. They are able to form hypothesis and take appropriate solution.Kompetence - komunikace:Students are able to work on particular given problem under an authority and also they are ready to create tasks and take a leading position in the team of co-workers. They apparently present their results for a professionally different groups of people. Students are ready to discuss their own results with proffesionals and with general public.Kompetence - úsudek:Students are able to have a creative and responsible approach to their work. They can use relevant literature and other serious information sources. On the basis of their own experience and respected information sources they form their own opinion.
