Znalosti:The absolvents of this subject have a basic knowledge in Central Europa's ecosystems and means of their protection. They are familiar with essential management actions and are able to apply these actions in management of water and terrestrial ecosystems. They are aware of historical connections of central european ecosystems usage from the human point of view and their connections with plant and animal species occurrence. They have a knowledge in regulation and reparative management at different forest and non-forest sites. They are familiar with the management of rare ecosystems such as moors, solonchacs or sandbanks, azonal ecosystems such as alpine sites, sandstone rock cities and so on. A big attention is given to different types of wetlands, including ponds, bogs and water courses. Students are familiar also with examples of conservation actions at agricultural land or at devastated sites by human.Dovednosti:The absolvents of this subject can design an optimal way of protection and management of protected and non-protected ecosystems with respect to the site conditions, communities and species. He can prepare and realize a management plan of protected areas. He can assess the effect of agricultural usage on the ecosystem and also an impact of this usage on communities and species. He is able to propose changes in agriculture usage of ecosystems and means of their protection. While solving complicated and unpredictable problems, they act as professionals and are able to reach qualified help. They can assert themselves at government administration, specialized institutions and organizations.Kompetence - komunikace:The absolvents of this subject understand specialized terminology, which allows them communicate effectivelly with the government administration, non-government organizations and productive sphere.
