Znalosti:The students shall acquire basic and theoretical knowledge and skills necessary for successful completion of the terrain research in the framework of geological and even other natural sciences. They shall gain awareness of map works (topographical data, geological and special-purpose maps oriented at forestry) and explanations thereto, available for the territory of the Czech republic (in paper and digital forms). They shall gain grasp of possibilities of linking archive and terrain research and of its advantages and pitfalls. They are aware of limits of their knowledge and they have a clear idea about the possibilities of a further increase of their work efficiency.Dovednosti:They know how to apply their knowledge and skills even in unknown surroundings under unfavourable conditions. They are able to get oriented - after previous preparation- in a difficult terrain and solve therein documentary and research tasks. They are able to obtain, extract and process samples and the terrain data thus obtained they know how to interpret. They know the basic and advanced methods used for collection and data processing in geological sciences. They know how to interpret data from geological, tectonic, hydrogeological, soil, land registry, single-purpose oriented at forerstry and applied maps and from the position of geological bodies they are able to draw the necessary conclusions.Kompetence - komunikace:The students master communication with the public on all levels in the terrain - lay, popular, professional and scientific. They are able to get oriented and to set through their opinions even in quite disparate collectives from the aspect of different educational level, nationality, ethnic or religious affiliation, sex, age. On the basis of the capability to formulate clearly the problem they knoKompetence - úsudek:The graduates have capability to synthesise findings and signals coming from different levels of geological and natural environment, to a certain extent they can anticipate consequences and partially prevent clashes.
