Znalosti:Students have basic knowledge in key processes of the EIA procedure (screening, scoping, assessment, opinion, post-project analysis, monitoring). They can identify the major differences of the various steps of EIA procedure at appropriate levels. Students are aware of the fundamental juristic pillars of the environmental impact assessment. They have information on key aspects of landscape structure, processes, functioning of the current information base for assessment in the EIA. They are aware of the irreplaceable role of the EIA process in urban and regional planning.Dovednosti:Students are able to understand the fundamental issues of the EIA procedure. They can solve theoretical and practical problems in various areas of practical applications. They have the ability to assess and use basic methods, including an opinion of economic ministries and business entities.Kompetence - komunikace:Students are able to work in a team (including team leading). They are equipped with the ability to formulate and present their own opinion, to assess the results of other teams, to compare different approaches and to identify problems and propose possible solutions.Kompetence - úsudek:Students can apply active work approach. They can use a large amount of relevant data (literature, own experience in the field, the experience of experts). They use available information access, public participation, access to law enforcement (Arhus) and the role of the public in EIA and SEA procedures to create their own discretion.
