Cíl
Within this subject will students inform about applied hydroinformatics. Basic principles and segments of hydroinformatics with emphasis on integral understanding of processes in water resources and environment will be explained. Main part of subject will be aimed on application of information technologies in environmental sector. Lectures will be concentrated on philosophical aspect of application of modern technologies and students will be introduced with assume trends in development of IT and their impact on character of engineering activities as it known form professional experiences in present time. In the scope of lectures will be explained new trends in information technologies in individual sectors of hydroinformatics tools application (urbanized complex, whole hydrological catchments). Applied hydroinformatics inform students about present status of development trends in areas of monitoring, databases and data processing, GIS applications and simulation models with emphasis on links and conditions of cooperation of each elements of hydroinformatics system.
