Cíl

Aim of the subject is providing students with teoretical knowledge of economic approaches in area of sustainable development, pricing of natural sources and their use. Further pieces of knowledge in delimitation of specifics of expert activities in relation to environment of life. On base of theoretical knowledge possible ways and means will be discussed and to secure and maintain the environment of life. The course combines lectures with discussing and exercising of the problem in the course of seminar. Students are required to take active part in seminar discussions, to prepare practical economic project regarding the topic. The assessment of the work activity during the term is included into the final grading during examination.

Znalosti:Graduates have theoretical knowledge in the area of environmental economics, specifically study of environmental policies. Graduates learn laws of environmental economics using both qualitative and quantitative analysis of government policies. Their knowledge reflects up-to-date knowledge in the field of economics with the knowledge in other life sciences. The knowledge enables them to apply learned methods of analysis on problems of environment both in national and international framework.Dovednosti:Graduates can apply their knowledge of theories of environmental economics to behavior of consumers, firms and governments. They can creatively and independently solve problems of society in relation with the environment.Kompetence - komunikace:They can efficiently work in analytical teams and cooperate with qualified professionals. They can share undestandably information.Kompetence - úsudek:They possess abilities of analysis and synthesis which provide them with know-how to sort and process information, determine its relevancy and use it to study and solve problems related to environment.
