Cíl

The aim of the seminar is to support students in the diploma thesis writing including the language support. The theoretical part includes the basic methods of lworking with literature and other resources, methods and tools of data processing and presentation, structuring of a scientific thesis, its anaalusis and conclusion. the practical pert consists of diploma thesis presentation methods, state examination procedure and important points including behaviour and language support. Students will prepare and present at the seminars selected parts of their DTs, their performance will be analysed and evaluated.

Znalosti:The graduates get the necessary information and theoretical knowledge for the successful elaboration of their diploma thesis regarding its content, structure and form, as well as its presentation. They are acquainted with the possible risks and main reasons of failure, so that they are ableto avoid them.Dovednosti:In the practical part of the course, the students present the structure, content, methodology and selected part of their diploma thesis and learn to dispute with the opponents and to defend their own opinion and form of solution. They get the practical presentation experience using the modern presentation techniques.Kompetence - komunikace:They can use the tools of the own work successful presentation, use them in front of a wider public and are able to cope with questions and criticism. They are able to control their oral presentation, its scope and structure and teir behaviour and body language during it.Kompetence - úsudek:Thea are able to set the aims, hypotheses and to define the methodology of their scientific work and to defend its results in public discussion.
