Cíl

The course unit provides students knowledge from the area of world trade which is inseparably connected over the globe. The reasons of such mutual connection are explained with an aim to show how increasing foreign trade determinates the globalisation and integration processes.

Znalosti:Graduates have theoretical as well as limited practical knowledge of the theory of foreign trade. They are made to understand the issues of international trade and international trade policies. Main emphasis is given to the ability of a student to understand the issues of foreign trade relationships and take a critical standpoint to key factors influencing today's global trade. They must handle issues related to the following subjects: territorial and commodity structure of world trade of goods and services, liberalization, glovalizatiom, internationalization and integration. The knowledhe is related not only classic theory but also up-to-date information available to the individual topics. Graduates are also aware of current development and position of world trade within the global economy (Emphasis is put to the work with current data available through domestic and foreign databases).Dovednosti:Graduates are able to understand basic issues of foreign trade from the national economu as well as regional and local standpoint. Emphasis is given to the ability to tuse theoretical knowledge gained from other subjects related to international trade. Foreign trade must be perceived in a broadex context as a key and essential part of economy. In this perspective, students are able to analyze and evaluate activities related to foreign trade in a broader context in order to evaluate future impacts of current decisions.Kompetence - komunikace:Graduates are made to communicate within a team as well as outwards. A project must fullfill all requirements of a proper work so that the graduates are able to conduct discussion when defending own work.Kompetence - úsudek:Graduates obtain own experience how to obtain and evaluate professional information. Through case studies, their presentation and defense, they are able to formulate, analyze and intepret results of a problem.
