The course is intended to explain basic theory of business economics and methods used in analysing the position of firms in the market. The subject should prepare students for further study of economic subjects in higher education degree. Basic teaching forms are lectures, seminars, elaborating individual projects.

The knowledge is related to exterior as well as interior condititons of firms in the market. They can apply professional analytical methods for evaluation of enterprise in-hoise economic situation and propose professional recommendations. The skills are applicable especially in the area of enterprise management and all relevant fields. Given the international characted of the class, these skills are applicable in a global environment, especially then in supranational organizations.Kompetence - komunikace:They can control and manage economic situation of firms. They are capable to communicate with the professional in their field on an international level. They are able to justify their opinions and proposals.Kompetence - úsudek:Graduates are able to apply their own judgement, that can influence necessary management decisions. They can analyze given economic situation and properly analyze it. They can be responsible fo decision-making in financial and economic matters.
