Znalosti:The couse is aimed at complete beginners and is taught in English and on the basis of the English linguitics. The students will learn everyday vocabulary and relevant grammatical/syntactical structures. At the same time, they will encounter the basics of economic terminology and lexical means relative to the university/faculty environment.Dovednosti:The graduates are able to follow a simple conversation and to use basic everyday vocabulary and phrases. They can introduce themselves, their family, school, work etc. They can ask simple questions concerning personal details and familiar topics and answer them respectively. They are able to communicate in basic French when their interlocuters speak clearly and are willing to help (reformulate, slow down etc.). They can orientate themselves in a simple text related to the field of their study. Taking into account that French is their second or third foreign language, the students are encouraged to have in mind and use the language transfer.Kompetence - komunikace:The students will learn the vocabulary and structures that are related to everyday topics and needs. They can follow speakers in different situations when these speak clearly and articulate. They are as well able to get the meaning of easier spealist texts together (using the dictionary). The students can independently work with foreign resources/materials using different kinds of dictionaries and reference books.Kompetence - úsudek:The graduates are familiar with basic lexical, grammatical and syntactical means of common conversational topics. They can take part in a conversation related to the latter topics and know the very basic terminology used e.g. in structured CVs or forms (schools, field of study, specialization...).
