Cíl

Cílem kurzu je seznámit studenty s teorií a praxí finančního managementu v prostředí nadnárodních firem. Student se seznámí s teoretickými modely problematiky mezinárodních financí na numerických příkladech a s využitím empirické evidence. Cílem je presentovat mezinárodní finance z teoretické a praktické perspektivy s využitím kombinace kvantitativních a kvalitativních dovedností v této oblasti.

Znalosti:Students acquire a theoretical knowledge of selected topics of corporate finance and management of multinational firms. The core model for the analysis is firm value maximization for shareholders. Students will be able to direct their further studies in this area.Dovednosti:Students should be able to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to analyze and solve practical problems of the corporate financial management of a multinational company as well as to use well aimed argumentation towards the financial management issues.Kompetence - komunikace:Students are able effectively communicate with other professionals working in the area of corporate finance of multinational firms, as well as with a general public on topics of financial management in an international setting.Kompetence - úsudek:Students are able to collect and analyze relevant financial data about corporate finances and a global financial environment of the multinational corporations. Students are aware of limitations of their knowledge and expertise.
