Cíl

The course provides students with a conceptual understanding of the financial decision making of the firm operating in the market environment under different economic conditions.

Získané způsobilosti

Znalosti:Students will acquire theoretical foundation in the areas of corporate finances and financial management. The central concept is the model of the shareholders wealth maximization. At the end of the course, students should be able to apply their understanding and move on to more complex analytical issues.Dovednosti:Students should be able to apply the acquired knowledge, hey can use arguments with use of their own knowledge and to analyze and solve practical problems of the financial management of a company's every day processes.Kompetence - komunikace:Students are able to effectively communicate with other professionals working in the area of corporate finance, as well as with a general public on topics of financial management.Kompetence - úsudek:Students are able to collect and analyze relevant financial data. Students are also aware of limitations of their knowledge and expertise in this area.
