Cíl

The course provides students with the knowledge of basic psychological terms, laws and theories, with the focus mainly on cognitive and social psychology, communication, motivation and personality. Students practise their knowledge in seminars, where the skills for their future social roles and positions are developed through active social learning methods. Psychology, as a basic subject, is a prerequisite for the study of other specialised subject such as, for example, management marketing and commerce. It helps to understand factors influencing personality development in society, contributes to self-knowledge and broadens education in humanities.

Znalosti:Students have gained theoretical knowledge of fundamental issues in psychology of personality, general and social psychology. They are able to understand basic psychological wocabulary, laws, theories and methodology. They have clear idea of their knowledge limitations and of the further study options.Dovednosti:Students are able to use their knowledge in practical applications. They have gained the insight into some basic psychological constructs, namely human personality in a context of human resources management and can also capture basic social behaviour elements.Kompetence - komunikace:Students can establish and sustain communication with qualified specialists in the field, they are able to effectively convey and also receive the expert information.Kompetence - úsudek:Students are competent to form intelligent conclusion on selected areas of psychology, especially those concerning human resources management and social behaviour. Nevertheless, they are aware of their own knowledge and skills limitations as well as of the necessity of cooperation with other specialists in the field.
