Aim of the course: To provide students with knowledge of basic theoretical and functional principles of machines and mechanisms used for transport and handling in agriculture, environmental technology and related branches of industry. The other aim is to give the students knowledge of practical use of this machinery in logistic systems of other studied courses. Description of the course: The course includes theoretical, technical, energetic and practical information about transport and manipulation machinery used mainly as a part of logistic systems in agriculture, food industry, waste processing, building industry etc. lectures, seminary and laboratory training

Znalosti:Graduates of the course acquire theoretical master-level knowledge on technologies and on transport, handling and manipulation machinery in agriculture with the focus on crop production, transport, municipal utilities, and forestry, and knowledge on linking the machinery into gangs and lines. They have systematic understanding of studied problems especially of individual work operation requirements, their energy demand, properties of the material processed, adjustment of mechanisms with respect to optimum work quality at a stated workrate, and evaluation rules of machinery economic efficiency. Their knowledge further expands courses oriented at structural design of machinery in question, at technological requirements demanded, and at organization, management and optimization of production processes.Dovednosti:Graduates of the course are able to apply acquired theoretical and practical knowledge in solution to problems related with optimum employment of transport, handling and manipulation machinery in practice oriented at production processes, provision of services, and at machinery selling. They know how to make use of up-to-date technical and scientific publications and can interpret them to their customers.Kompetence - komunikace:Graduates of the course are able to lead working groups. They can communicate in Czech and two foreign languages using special professional language expressions. They can formulate, present and justify their own opinions, communicate comprehensibly, concretize problems and possible solutions. They are able to solve practical problems and know how to present and vindicate them.Kompetence - úsudek:Graduates of the course are competent to employ their own experience, knowledge of experts, and particularly information from scientific publications. They are competent and responsible for their decisions and for the work of the teams they manage. They can classify and analyze results and conclusions published in technical and scientific publications.
