The course focuses on principles and decision making based on following chapters:Main Contents:1. History of EC;2. History of EU;3. History of EMU;4. Bodies of EU;5. Legislation;6. Impact of integration tendencies on national states;7. Globalisation;8. Political, social changes;9. Possible future development;10. Other organisations in the world economy.The course will enable students to:1. gain the general knowledge of history of European integration, legislation and EU structure;2. develop the ability to analyse economical and political changes in Europe;3. develop the ability to provide a economical perspective for decision making on the EU level and on the government level of each member state or region;4. develop the capacity to apply their knowledge in every-day operations in projecting, monitoring, and evaluation in regions;5. develop the ability to discuss the economical aspects of the controversies surrounding the contemporary globalisation.
