Cíl

This year's course will look at developments in post-1945 British poetries in the context of earlier developments, focusing particularly on relations between aspects of British and American poetries.During the course students will discuss ways to relate formal aspects of verbal expression to broader areas of social and cultural concern in the poems considered and at the end of the course to produce an essay analysing aspect of the poetries discussed in comparable fashion.
