Cíl
Upon completing the course, students will be able to assess their translation competence with respect to texts from a range of domains in non-literary translation. They will have learned how to distribute the time they spend translating and how to address involved risks. They will get more practice in the use of different knowledge resources and, through acting as co-creators of the course, will have deepened their expertise in fields they might potentially claim as their translation specializations.

(1) Organizational instructions, course rules. Claiming one's field of translational expertise. Selection of a text for others to translate.(2)Each student will select a text from their preferred domain for others to translate, with which they will be ready to act as an expert, and make the text available for others through Elf. The individual sessions will be based on peer feedback (by the student who will have assigned the text in question), teacher feedback and a joint discussion. Students will assess their translation competence with respect to the domain, to the specific text prior to translation and after the feedback session.
