Cíl
Having completed the course, the students will be able to describebasic theoretical concepts and categories that are related to research of ethnic and religious conflicts. They will be able to explain the relations among the following categories: religion – culture – ethnicity – politics.Students will be able to define the basic terminology: religion, ethnicity, nation, ethnocentrism, competitive ethnicity, racial conflicts etc.The focus of the course will consist of individual case studies - impacts of conflicts on everyday life and culture. People of different ethnic groups and different religions will participate in debates.
