Cíl
The purpose of this course is to acquaint the students with the issues involved in the translation from English to French and its historical milestones. In the initial part of the course, we will discuss the principal grammatical, morphological, syntactic and stylistic differences between the two languages.Later, in the seminars, the students will be able to practise translation of texts from various spheres of everyday life: newspaper, administrative, juridical, economic as well as literary texts.
