Cíl

This course, exclusively taught in English, is a contrastive overview of the evolution of linguistic approaches in France and America during the second part of 20th century. The aim of the course is to propose a survey about the different theories and their inherent consequences. The course thus focuses on differences between linguistics in France an America during this period.

Požadavky

The access to the course is restricted to students of the Romance languages and literature (URJL), but grant permissions may be given according availability. The maximum number of students accepted is 20. The classroom thus should not have more than 20 seats and the use of computers is not required. The course would be taught in the autumn semester.
