Cíl

Student by měl po úspěšném absolvování: 1. znát základní témata, teorie, diskuze a problémy řešené v informační vědě,2. být schopen identifikovat subdisciplíny informační vědy a jejich vzájemné vztahy a provázanost,3. být schopen reflexivně a kriticky uchopit fenomény delimitace a identity oboru a zhodnotit význam interakcí s příbuznými obory4. výrazně posílit schopnost kritické práce s odborným textem a související dovednosti 5. získat praktické kompetence v oblastech 1) mezilidské komunikace a 2) argumentace 3) reflexe profesní identity a možností profesního uplatnění6. získat artefakt v podobě digitálního portfolia s výsledky vzniklými průběžnou tvorbou kreativních výstupů v průběhu kurzuStruktura předmětu klade důraz na intenzivní práci s textem — povinnými součástmi jsou četba v rozsahu cca 20 —70 stran týdně (též s ohledem na sazbu a jazyk textu, některé texty jsou dostupné pouze v anglickém jazyce), účast na seminárních diskusích a tvorba kreativních výstupů (v případě studentů komb. formy studia jsou podmínky mírně upraveny, viz. část Metody hodnocení).Všechny potřebné texty budou zpřístupněny skrze studijní materiály v informačním systému.

Furner, Miksa, Marco, Yovits, Brookes, Robinson, Farradane, Floridi, Shera) (3 semináře)2) Historická zkoumání informační vědy – hledání počátků a identity (Rayward, Burke; 1 semináře)3) Informační války: od dokumentalistiky přes informační vědu k informatice (Wellisch, Buckland; 3 semináře)4) Paninformaticionizmus, informační metavěda, jednotná teorie informace (Capurro, Fleissner, Hofkirchner, Otten, Debons; 2 semináře)5) Mezi teorií a praxi - kritická reflexe trendů ve vzdělávání informačních studií, skladba kurikul, zavírání informačních škol (Abott, Rothstein, Nolin – Ăström, Ostler Dahlin, Willardson, Paris, Van House, Sutton, Berry III, Gorman, Durrance, Dillon, Norris, Cronin; 3 semináře)
