On completion of the course students will appreciate the necessity of looking at whole systems and dynamical behaviour when trying to understand the large-scale social/ economic/ ecological processes, and will have a basic understanding of analytical tools used to study them. They will be in a position to be knowledgeable and critical contributors to an emerging and critically important societal conversation – if there are limits to growth and if there is little we can do to avoid hitting those limits- how do we, as individuals and societies, respond wisely and with forethought. This course is delivered in English by David Korowicz of Feasta, The Foundation for the Economics of Sustainability (www.feasta.org), and Korowicz Human Systems Consulting. (www.davidkorowicz.com).
