The course focuses on contemporary American literature, especially fiction, and ideas and issues which it reflects. The authors included were born after 1940.Based on guided reading experience and class discussions, students are encouraged to read and critically comment on topics like identity, history, relations, regions, and visions, and their relevance in the post-modern world.
