At the end of the course students should be able to:master the basic linguistic terminology;master all the grammar features of chapters 2, 3 and 4 of the major course book for GRAMMAR A - 'A Student's Grammar of the English Language' by Sidney Greenbaum;explain all the GRAMMAR features covered in GRAMMAR A subject;practically and theoretically analyze stretches of English;Throughout the semester students are encouraged to link theory in the classroom to practice via practical tasks.
